Awards
The “Best Abstract Award” is open to graduate students seeking a degree in family therapy or young professionals who earned their graduate degree in family therapy within the last two years. Documentation of their current graduate student status or post-graduate status of two years or less following their graduate degree must accompany the abstract form.
APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Proof of student (transcript, copy of student identification card, or letter signed by head of department) or new professional (transcript) status must be sent to the IFTA congress secretariat for award consideration.
- PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL STUDENT/NEW PROFESSIONAL PRESENTERS ARE REQUIRED TO REGISTER FOR THE CONGRESS WITHIN 3 WEEKS OF THE ACCEPTANCE OF YOUR ABSTRACTS. PRESENTERS WHO HAVE NOT REGISTERED BY THEN WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN THE PROGRAM.
- The awardee will have his/her registration payment automatically refunded after the announcement of the award.
- The Student/Young Professional should complete the abstract form alone as an individual. Academic advisors should not appear on the form.
