Trips & Tours

Tecnica Incentives will offer IFTA Congress attendees a variety of optional pre-congress tours:

• Tangier, Morocco – one day tour
• Gilbraltar – one day tour
• Malaga City Tour – half-day tour

A nice one and a half-hour drive along the coastal road until we reach La Linea de La Concepcion.

Once in Gibraltar, we will change from the large coaches to smaller minibuses (20 Seats) to start the sight seeing of the “Rock”.

Gibraltar is a strategic point where two seas meet each other, the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean, offers traces of our recent history and of the prehistoric times that we can see as we go into its ancient caves. You can visit the fortress and the ancient walls as well as the old town, the local flora that covers the rock, the lighthouse on the very southern point, the Museum of History. Gibraltar is also a tax-free shopping place, and where different cultures and people are mixed together. All this gives a peculiar atmosphere to the city and its surroundings.

During the tour, you will also come across the Governor’s Palace, commonly known as the “Convent”, Trafalgar Cemetery, where many who fought in the Battle of Trafalgar are buried.

After the sightseeing there will be some time as well for shopping as a lot of items in Gibraltar can be bought “duty free”.

We will board the fast ferry, sailing from Tarifa, (the most southern point in the Spanish Peninsula about) 35 minutes a very comfortable vessel to cross to Tangier. Once in the port of Tangier, we will take us on a sightseeing tour.

This tour is made of two parts: The first part is made of the sightseeing of the Country side made in local coaches (not as modern as ours). The outskirts and surroundings of the city of Tangiers. Places as the Cape Spartel, the meeting point between the Mediterranean and Atlantic Oceans, and riding a camel to remind us of exactly in which continent we are in.

The second part of the Tour is the walking tour through the Medina, Kasbah and the various Souks or markets of the area.

Lunch will be served in a typical Moroccan restaurant before heading back to the port of Tangier for the return journey.

Granada is a city in southern Spain's Andalusia region, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. It's known for grand examples of medieval architecture dating to the Moorish occupation, especially the Alhambra. This sprawling hilltop fortress complex encompasses royal palaces, serene patios, and reflecting pools from the Nasrid dynasty, as well as the fountains and orchards of the Generalife gardens.
