Half Day Málaga City Walking Tour (English speaking guide), Monday, March 27, 2023 - 12:30 pm departs

MalagaDeparture to discover Malaga, by seeing outside of the Alcazaba fortress Palace of the XI century, former residence of the Arab kings of Malaga, United to the Gibralfaro Castle by a path of wall and the Cathedral, national monument, built on the old mosque Muslim.

Work began in 1528. Renaissance style. Known popularly as "giving" because it lacks a tower that was never built, and we put on the Place of the Merced, where the birthplace of Picasso.

Granada is a city in southern Spain's Andalusia region, in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains. It's known for grand examples of medieval architecture dating to the Moorish occupation, especially the Alhambra. This sprawling hilltop fortress complex encompasses royal palaces, serene patios, and reflecting pools from the Nasrid dynasty, as well as the fountains and orchards of the Generalife gardens.

GRANADA ALHAMBRAAlhambra

The history of the Alhambra is linked to the geographical location where it is located, Granada; On a rocky hill of difficult access, on the banks of the river Darro, protected by the mountains and surrounded by forest, among the oldest districts of the city, the Alhambra rises like an imposing castle of reddish tones in its walls that hide to the Exterior the delicate beauty of its interior.

Designed as a military zone at the beginning, the Alhambra became the royal residence and court of Granada in the mid-13th century after the establishment of the Nasrid Kingdom and the construction of the first palace by the founding king Mohammed ibn Yusuf Ben Nasr, better known as Alhamar.

GRANADA ALHAMBRAThroughout the s. XIII, XIV and XV, the fortress becomes a citadel of high walls and defensive towers, which houses two main areas: the military zone or Alcazaba, barracks of the royal guard, and the medina or palatine city, where the famous Nasrid Palaces and the remains of the houses of nobles and plebeians who lived there. The city was seized in 1492 by the Catholic Monarchs.

The monumental complex also has an independent palace in front of the Alhambra, surrounded by orchards and gardens, which was the solace of the Granadine kings.

The name Alhambra has its origins in an Arabic word meaning "red castle or vermilion", perhaps due to the color tone of the towers and walls that completely surround the hill of La Sabica.

Tangier, Morocco Guided Tour, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 - 6:00 am departs

Breakfast ; since it will not be open, there will be breakfast box and coffee in cup take-away

We will board the fast ferry, sailing from Tarifa, (the most southern point in the Spanish Peninsula about) 35 minutes a very comfortable vessel to cross to Tangier. Once in the port of Tangier, we will take us on a sightseeing tour.

TangiersThis tour is made of two parts: The first part is made of the sightseeing of the Country side made in local coaches (not as modern as ours). The outskirts and surroundings of the city of Tangiers. Places as the Cape Spartel, the meeting point between the Mediterranean and Atlantic Oceans, and riding a camel to remind us of exactly in which continent we are in.

The second part of the Tour is the walking tour through the Medina, Kasbah and the various Souks or markets of the area.

Lunch will be served in a typical Moroccan restaurant before heading back to the port of Tangier for the return journey.
