Certificates / CEUs
There are two standard certificates available:
1. Certificate of Attendance.
FREE and Automatic. Click here to see a sample.All attendees will automatically receive a Certificate of Attendance when they arrive at the World Congress.2. Certificate of Continuing Education.
$15 USD (before December 31, 2013) and by request only. Click here to see a sample.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are made available through the co-sponsorship of Marriage and Family Counseling Service (Rock Island, Illinois, USA), an Approved Continuing Education Sponsor for several different licensed professionals in both Illinois and California as follows:

• California Licensed Clinical Social Works, #PCE5572

By completing a request and submitting payment of $15 USD (before December 31, 2013), you will receive the standard Certificate of Continuing Education via email within 4 weeks after the World Congress.

NOTE - Acceptance of the CEUs varies by state regulations. You need to check with your state to determine if these CEUs are valid in your state.
If you need something more customized, than either of the two standard certificates, you may request this during the World Congress at the Registration Desk for a fee of $25 USD

TransParenting
TransParenting is a program for separating and divorcing couples with minor children in the home. For more information and schedule, Click Here.
Anger Management
Anger Management classes are offered occasionally for individuals who have been referred to the agency for these classes. Call the office for more information, 309/786-4491.
Parenting 1 to 5 Year Olds and 6 to 12 Year Olds-- Español (Spanish)
The Spanish Family Therapy Program offers a variety of classes for Spanish speaking parents and individuals. For information in Spanish on the regular programs, Click Here. Spanish Parenting Classes for 1 to 5 Year Olds and 6 to 12 Year Olds are offered throughout the year at different locations. Residency (Internship) Program
MFCS also offers two full-time twelve month residencies in couple and family therapy. Applicants must have at least a master's degree, or its equivalence, in marital and family therapy. The residency carries a stipend of $18,500 plus benefits. The residency begins on or around August 1 of each year. The deadline for Resident/Intern applications is March 15 for the upcoming fall. The application can be downloaded (see Intern Application) and mailed.
