Getting to the Sheraton Wall Centre

Public Transit – Canada Line

Cost:  YVR to Downtown is $8.75 per adult;   Downtown to YVR is $3.75 per adult (regular rush hour fare).

Note:  In travel from the Airport to downtown there is an “AddFare” charge to all departing fare tickets.  An additional $5.00 is charged to the regular fare to make the ticket cost $8.75 rather than $3.75 per adult.  (This is similar to the Airport Taxi addfare in other US and Cdn cities)

Finding the Canada Transit Line:  Once through the customs and immigration arrivals process, walk toward the exit to our International Arrivals Greeting Area. Exit the building following signs marked Canada Line. Before the parkade entrance, an escalator and elevator will take you up to the Canada Line platform. 
 
Subway to Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre Hotel
(24 mins by Canada Line and 15 mins walking distance)
Exit at either Yaletown Station or CityCenter Station

  • Yaletown Exit:  Take Canada Line from YVR Northbound & exit at the
  • Yaletown Station is approx. 10 blocks from the Sheraton.  Walk up Davie Street (west) until Burrard Street. Then turn right and walk two blocks to Burrard St/Helmcken St.  The hotel is located on that corner across from the St. Paul’s Hospital, 1088 Burrard Street, Vancouver. (Appox. 15 min walk)

  • CityCenter Exit: Take Canada Line from YVR Northbound and exit at CityCenter
  • CityCenter is approx. 5 blocks from the station.  Exit on to Georgia Street and turn left along Georgia to Hornby Street (the Vancouver Art Gallery is on the corner).  They then turn left and follow Hornby Street 3 blocks to Nelson St.  The Hotel is on that corner.  (Approx. 10 min walk)

    • AeroCar Shuttle Service – NOTE - We have just found out the shuttle will not be in operation in March.

    Taxi fare:  Average cost of a taxi into downtown is $35-40 Cdn

    Limo Fare:  Average cost for YVR to downtown is $50 plus gratuity ($55-58)    (** 2010 rates)
